The Excelize Project Engineer is required to manage and coordinate a multitude of diverse projects and must oversee the execution of projects from concept through completion which must be delivered on schedule and within budget. Will gather project information, including drawings, specifications, and construction schedules to calculate project cost. Must have a demonstrated ability to lead offshore teams, manage construction activities, and implement quality assurance protocols. Must have experience with scheduling software, managing project timelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within specified deadlines.

Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, shop drawings, submittal drawings, and As-built modeling from point cloud to create and manage Trimble files and generate working drawings for the field team.

Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and manage multiple client projects as well as gather detailed

client information, architectural drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.

Oversee and lead construction, operations, and maintenance activities at the project site while serving as an on-site modeler responsible for the creation and production of drawings and specifications.

Establish specifications for projects based on a thorough review of performance standards, client requirements, and product design.

Provide technical advice to managerial personnel regarding design, construction, program modifications, or structural repairs.

Calculate the labor required to complete projects within the provided timeline/schedule while efficiently managing, tracking, and monitoring the labor and multiple tasks across project teams.

Assess and calculate quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labor at various stages of construction to determine the overall project cost.

Assess the scope of work to formulate comprehensive contract documents for subcontractor agreements, acquire quotes from subcontractors, draft and submit bid packages, collect feedback of the projects after the bidding process.

Formulate project parameters, delegate, and review work of offshore team of BIM professionals.

Schedule project-related production activities aligned with project timelines.

Review the quality of deliverables and identify environmental risks and develop risk management strategies for civil engineering projects and maintain required Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) protocols and respective documentation for all projects.

Report setbacks/discrepancies both project-based and resource-based to the Project Manager Review progress with clients and keep them informed of progress to ensure customer satisfaction regarding the quality of deliverables and adherence to timelines.

Document these client meetings with the Project Manager.

Knowledge in Navisworks, or other design software programs.

Must possess a master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in construction management, civil engineering or related field, plus 2 years experience in the following skills that may be gained concurrently: Oversee projects with a bid value exceeding $35 million; Analyze, modify & create BIM models using REVIT to transform 2D drawings into three-dimensional (3D) representations and shop drawings; and Blue Beam, Procore, Auto CAD, Microsoft project, Primavera P6 or older, Planswift and Microsoft office.

100% short-term travel or long-term relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the United States required.

All travel costs paid by the employer.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
